Love it! Stylish and great quality!

I really love the design which has a lot of hidden pockets inside. It is the perfect size for me since I don't like carrying a backpack to work everyday. The quality is really good. For those of you who use a lightweight backpack before, the weight is something you need to consider before you make the purchase. If you are thinking about carrying it around a lot, be prepared to commit to the weight because good canvas and leather doesn't come with lightweight.

GREAT BAG!

Took this bag on my first three day trip last week and it fit WAAAAY more than I expected (I took too much because I could fit it). Seems to be made REALLY well. Feels great. Carries great. Really happy with this bag!

Great quality, odd shape

I am a big fan of the larger Augustine duffel, which makes a great carry-on. I was excited to get this one as a gym bag. Unfortunately, some of the features didn’t scale down very well.

One of the best design elements of the larger bag is how far the zipper extends- it really makes packing (and digging around to find something) very easy. That doesn’t work in the smaller bag- you don’t get the wide mouth effect. Similarly, I think the long buckled straps are too much on this little bag. It is also more square-shaped, which makes it look like more of a handbag or tote than a duffel bag.

The build quality is excellent and the bag suits my purpose, but for me it’s not quite the home run that I found in its big brother.
