Have not used the product yet, and given five stars because everything else I’ve ever received from Kodiak is high-quality & Never disappointed. I assume this will be no different

I purchased the Kodiak canvas wax to apply to a newly purchased “Bucket List Family” canvas backpack. I was very happy with this product. I applied it to the backpack exactly as directed on the packaging and it was very easy and went well. I had actually purchased another wax (otter wax) for another bag and the Kodiak product was far superior. In the end the backpack did not end up stiff or sticky. On the other hand, the otter wax made the canvas very stiff and “candle wax” like. The Kodiak wax was more expensive but I would confidently buy the Kodiak wax again. In the picture with the front of the backpack you can see where I had applied the wax to the top flap but not the bottom pocket. There is a slight color change but very minimal.

The wax bar was semi-solid. It held its form but quickly become soft when applying. Has a neutral smell, as in didn’t really smell like anything.

Outside of the wax, my experience with kodiak customer service was amazing. The team was very responsive, friendly, and I would buy from Kodiak again just based on how they treated me. The backpack is great quality and I am excited to have it for years.
