I have had this bag for two years now and I'm kicking myself for not getting the 3 year warranty. The Velcro strap started tearing up the liner on day one, so I had to remove it. Since then, the liner in the front book pocket has torn and separated from the bag. I have loved everything else about the bag and get compliments on it constantly, but with this issue, I find it difficult to recommend or purchase another. I wish it could be fixed

Have used the bag for the last month and a half, but I had to by a new bag that would meet my needs. The bag is nice, but it’s missing some key features. It would be a big benefit to have a handle on top - didn’t think that would be a big deal until you go to throw it in your car, pick it up, or set it down on a desk. The two pockets in the front are unusable if you’re looking to maintain anything in the bag. The main compartment has a zipper to contain things - and there are additional pockets inside that would greatly benefit from also having a zipper to secure small items from making their way to the large compartment.
My wife tried to use it this past week since she didn’t want to see the bag just sit there - but she found in addition to my concerns the main flap that covers the bag does not secure in any way to the bag making it largely a nuisance more than anything.
I like the look of the bag, but functionally it does not work.

I am reasonably satisfied with my Buffalo Leather Messenger bag. There are two things that would have made me very happy with it. First, if there was some type of padding in the bottom to protect my computer when I set the bag down, and second, if there was a way for the bag to be slipped over the retractable handle of my carry on suitcase.
