Very dissatisfied.

I found the leather to have a “fake” leather look and feel. My hope was that once it had some use that the bag would appear different and break in a little. I then quickly found that the leather snap band that secures the handles together was too small not allowing the snaps to align and secure the handles.

However, we understand your concern about the leather's appearance and feel. We recommend giving the bag some time to break in and soften with use. Nice bag to travel with for a couple night trip. Looks great too.

What you see may not be what you get

I ordered the limited edition bag for several reasons. One of those reasons is, by my perception, the premium all leather shoulder strap pictured with the bag. I wanted that style of strap with the adjustable buckle.

What I did not want was the strap I received. The strap that was sent was with webbing and a slide style adjustment.

What I received is the strap shown with the less expensive version of the bag.

There was no mention of this in the product description or in any of the photos. So for this reason I feel tricked and cheated.

I contacted customer service and they were quick to respond telling me this strap was an update and I could not get the strap as shown with the bag. I did get a twenty dollar credit. A nice gesture to be sure but it doesn't really change anything.

It all made my first experience with Kodiak a disappointing one.
